My carpets are conceived and produced within Danish craftswork traditions.
Traditions which I both respect and admire.
Working with geometric forms and interaction of colours, I seek to challenge the flatness of the carpet's surface,
to attain a sense of depth, as well as movement.
In terms of design, I see my carpets as being details of a larger whole. After all,
no one can embrace the whole world. Yet by taking a part of it and scrutinising that part,
one might feel enabled to sense the greather picture.
I see my carpets as pictures lying on the floor, as well as being functonal objects which can age with grace.
